Why these are free

Because the maths was never the secret.

Erlang C is a published 1917 result. Every workforce management vendor uses it, including the ones that call it a proprietary AI algorithm in the sales deck.

What is actually hard is everything around it: getting clean interval data in, applying shrinkage in the right place, holding a forecast still long enough to schedule against it, and keeping the whole chain auditable when someone asks why the number changed.

So the formula is free. If you want it running against your real data, every interval, every queue, with the trace attached: that is the product.
